I rub some peanut butter on it and then leave the door open. My lab will then jump in and sit on the front seat and lick it off. He then scoots his butt on the seat trying to uncap his anal glands.

This is something I found that works great and it's super cheap.
I take a microfiber towel with some window cleaner on it and wipe down all of the Alcantara surfaces. Works very well IMHO. Give it a try it might surprise you. |

Agree with above recommendations about cleaning hands (especially important when getting back in the car after eating). Goes a long way towards keeping alcantara looking good. I rarely use anything more than a clean, damp towel for the steering wheel (once a month or so) and it stays nice. A microfiber towel works well, but I find that a soft cotton towel usually works even better when cleaning alcantara.

i have really sweaty hands so i always keep ac on when im driving and on track i use gloves but it still gets grimey lol gotta clean it this weekend
