The WRX was great, loved being able to toss the mountain bikes in the back or drive through snow. That’s what the truck is for though. The ZL1 amazes me every time I get in it.

Hey thanks for all the warm welcomes! Looks like a lot of new owners with a wide variety of color choices. I think the Camaros look excellent in any color. Almost at the 1500 mile mark and can’t wait to open her up.

1500 already, Damn! I got 368 sitting at the XPEL installer right now. Pick it up tomorrow, try and squeeze in a window tint and then it sits in the garage till spring :( . Such an awesome vehicle, congrats!

Mine has been sitting in the garage the past 2 weeks due to weather as well.

I have had her since April and have only put 6300 miles on her. Honestly, I have had it with the stock rubber though. For anything other than the track, they just don't hook up that well unless it is over 80 degrees outside.

Trying to decide what to put on her. But looking forward to driving her again.

Got only 550 miles on mine and that was put on driving it back to Florida from Tenn where I bought it. It has been in shop getting windows tinted and xpel and ceramic coat since the 10th. Hope to get it back as soon as the weather permits, rain rain rain.

Had 120 miles on it when I bought her then had to drive about 250 miles home. Plus with the CA weather I have been able to drive whenever.

Pardon me for butting into the ZL1 boys' club, how do you like it so far? Any comments on this vs the WRX you traded?

The WRX was a great car. The hatchback has tons of storage. Loved the look and feel of the car, interior was as cheap as could be with tons of creaks and moans on cold days. Performance wise it was definitely lacking in the power department stock so I ended up doin basic bolt Ons and a good tune. 0-60 times were vastly improved and even achieved consistent mid 4 second times.
Clutch was a weak point and I was always worried about the motor being a time bomb.

The ZL1 wins in every aspect besides cargo space. Even though I have managed to fit a cooler in the trunk hahha. I haven’t really pushed the Z much but it handles amazing and the instant torque is addictive. Interior quality is superior to anything I have been in.

Overall I will miss the WRX but do not regret my decision one bit.

Looks good man. I have a white 18' ZL1 as well and love the black and white contrast. I just got the windows tinting and adds more contrast. I am looking at the smoked diode dynamics led side markers next and currently putting the 69' cursive Camaro emblems from Rick's Camaros.

Looks good brother and welcome to the club. I bought mine on May 4th and have a storm trooper airfreshener!

Thanks! I also love the white and black contrast. Tint will definitely be added at some point. I was thinking of blacking out the emblems or de-badging.
