I fully agree with this strategy. I first installed a Rotofab and then a TM ported TB. The Rotofab made a slight diff. The TB did nothing, so I sold it.

yet my TM TB made a difference i can feel. Maybe its more noticeable on the A10 cars. I have a smoother acceleration.

Mine experience is similar to yours. Instead of the Roto-Fab, I installed a green drop-in filter first. Noticed a very slight improvement in throttle response. Nothing earth shattering. Months later I added the Mamo TB. Only noticeable difference with the Mamo TB was a slightly rougher idle. There's was no improvement in throttle response or acceleration during the six weeks it was installed. Put the stock TB back on and sold the Mamo TB.

Got to say changing to the new Mobil 1 ESP 0W40 motor oil made a bigger improvement in my car's performance than the Mamo TB did.
