When Ted tuned my car he had me install a new GM 3 bar sensor. I wonder if that one will let me read boost via OBD. Currently, I have an external Map 2 sensor from Aeroforce tapped into the procharger bypass valve manifold.

The stock map is 3 wires, the 3bar sensor is 4 wires. The 4th wire is pigtailed into the OBD2.
Analog reads right off vacuum or boost, visa tube (my case) or another sensor. To read boost, I am told you need the 4 wire, 3bar Map. I have both with the 3bar map (OBD2 and analog). With the P3gauge. |
