I'm surprised you haven't heard of these issues because they are well known. Or perhaps you're just acting like you don't know about them. Seems you Mustang guys get all "I never heard about..." whenever someone brings up a well known problem they have. Anyway, here, read for yourself... http://forums.corral.net/forums/s550...ion-issue.html https://www.carcomplaints.com/Ford/M..._driving.shtml http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...n-60-75-a.html http://www.mustangevolution.com/forum/f394/t362998/ https://www.reddit.com/r/Mustang/com...ould_i_expect/ It is a VERY well known and very real issue. Many of them have been brought in for it. And there are many other issues with the S550 as well. Hood shaking, tramlining, instability at higher speeds, and a few others. I have 2 friends on my FB who had Mustangs. One was a 16 GT and the other was either a 15 or 16. Both had them taken into the shop for work. One of them got either bought back or the guy traded it in because it had soo many problems and couldn't get it fixed properly. The other had his in the shop for a good few weeks. And there are plenty of other stories as well. |

I don't think GM needs to do anything with the SS. I think it was pretty much a success considering how well it performed and how it did everything well. Any upgrades might put it in a price range that will make it unsavory for buyers. Especially since they're almost at base C7 prices as it is. I think they should focus on the Z28 or COPO or ZR1 and let the SS and ZL1 stay where they're at. I don't think Ford can make anything that can keep up with the ZL1 as well as have decent options while keeping it at a competitive price range. Considering how the GT350R was more expensive than the ZL1 and couldn't hold a candle to it. A GT500 that has the power, handling, and options to rival a ZL1 would come in way to high. And the fact that they pushed Ford's hand and made them bring drastic changes to the GT after only 2 model years of the S550 shows how hardcore the Camaro is anyway. Maybe they'll do a refresh in 2020 or something. But they don't need to do much.

The problems/complaints with the camaro can't be fixed with an update (trunk space, rear seat space, visibilty). That's actually a pretty big problem to have.

That is an issue with the M6 equipped ZL1 when launching at the track. And it isn't as prevalent as the drivetrain vibrations on the S550s. In fact there are plenty who are launching just fine. You made that up. Made up. You either made that up or you're exaggerating. DFI engines take slightly longer cranking the engine to start up due to the fuel injectors being in the cylinders and being subjected to higher pressures (in a nutshell for the lamen). It is not an issue nor is it anything that is a problem. You made this up too. Made up. I never heard of this. There is nothing wrong with OnStar. Most people don't like it due to their driving reports and that is it. There are no other complaints about it. You made that up. There are no blinding reflection in the gauge clusters. The seats do not recline back that much as compared to the 5th Gens. I heard people make mention of it but no real complaints. The car is built for a specific purpose and as such, weight and size has to be cut from it. So there is limited room in the interior compared to the outgoing Gen. Now if you're carting along 3 other people who all happen to be over 6ft then I can see it being a problem. If you're homeless then I can see it being a problem. If you're driving it across the country then I can see it being a problem. Otherwise I'm not seeing an issue and I'm 6'2". The issues with the S550 that I listed are well known and can be found easily with a Google search. The issues you listed, well I have no idea where you got them from but these are made up BS that you came up with. If you have links to all these complaints then please share it with us. Because the problems you listed don't exist. |

Not facts, these are made up BS garbage that he invented or that he heard one person make mention of at some point and is now spouting it like it's an issue. But please, by all means prove me wrong and post links to all these issues. I already posted several links about the S550 drivetrain vibrations. Here are more.
Tramlining http://www.gt350.org/forum/40-mustan...g-kill-me.html Tramlining...3rd comment down. https://rennlist.com/forums/991-gt3-...gt350-146.html Tramlining. Even on the Hellcat forums (8th or 9th post down) http://www.hellcat.org/threads/shelb....118305/page-4 Even Maxim makes mention of the tramlining. https://www.maxim.com/rides/ford-she...mustang-2016-4 Tramlining again https://www.svtperformance.com/forum...sions.1128787/ Had enough about tramlining? Ok then lets move on to the hood shaking issues. https://mustangforums.com/forum/5-0l...gh-speeds.html https://www.svtperformance.com/forum...peeds.1076592/ http://www.allfordmustangs.com/forum...ood-issue.html https://www.reddit.com/r/Mustang/com...od_on_my_s550/ There is more but you get the point. Oh, and what about the weak trans? https://mustangforums.com/forum/the-...-please-2.html https://mechanics.stackexchange.com/...d-when-i-shift https://www.edmunds.com/ford/mustang...unk-sound.html http://www.mustangevolution.com/forum/f358/t364437/ http://s197forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=124161 |

Right. Well since you have no links to all these reports then I guess we'll just have to take your word for it.

Not made up.
http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=480598 Launch issue http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showthread.php?t=498180 Rough idle don’t seem to be a common issue. Headliner issues http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...ight=Headliner Slow start issue http://www.camaro6.com/forums/showth...ght=Slow+start I believe the battery cable issue was mostly on 5th gen cars. More info can be found in Camaro issues section. |

I've owned a 16 GT base model for a year now and have no vibration problems. My alignment from the factory was a little off,and the headlights are not aimed correctly. See sig for mods as to driveline, I did an X-pipe so I could hear my pony. This pissing match is childish, let's enjoy our experience and share knowledge.
