I had to trim the end of the intake tube side to get mine to snap on ('17). It was like it was too long and the pcv fitting would not reach the snap parts. I made several small cuts to the end of the tube until I could slide it on and it would snap.

Thanks Gutling. That didn’t cross my mind but could be the problem I figured Injen made it a perfect fit but guess not. I will post a picture later of it before I do any cutting. New to the forum and appreciate all the help guys!

Humph... I assume you both have the open box because my fitting on the closed box is metal and not plastic. Maybe Evil-Bee can chime in if he sees this. He also has the open box and he did not tell me of any issues.

Mine was the open box one, but fitting was metal. It apparently fit '16 fines but the change in '17 was what threw mine off. Not sure if the evolution one has the same issue between 16-17 but maybe.

That’s very weird. Contact injen. I’m sure they have good CS.

Looking at your pic it seems the connector is at a slight angle. Are you able to turn the intake pipe a little counterclockwise? Also I see that you have the newer box with the tinted intake window so they might have changed something. I ended up replacing the entire PCV hose with one from a '16 since it's such a stupid design IMHO.

No worries!! I appreciate it. I actually ordered a Mishimotot catch cam system and it has a new PCV hose and all. Should help but if not I’ll take a look at getting the one from the 2016

I was going to suggest that as well :P but didn't know if they utilized the existing hose. Even when I replaced my hose my car felt like it ran smoother so I wonder how much gunk is being caked up in there. I considered a catch can but my car is leased so I don't think it would be worth it.

You're saying that replacing your PCV hose with the 2016 model made your car run better?
