My Corsa extreme axle back has been delivered. My friend owns Caliber Customs and will be building a custom mid X section that connects to the primary cats. That way I can drop the OEM exhaust in one shot without cutting, and will essentially have a full Corsa catback that removes the secondary cats. Can't wait! Sorry. Excited. Likely won't be until late September though. He's slammed.

You've got almost the same scenario here if you tried to do that. The Borla axleback systems are designed to slide over the stock pipe and clamp down so the rear section of the Borla midpipe is the same diameter as stock so you would be butting up the midpipe to the stock NPP pipe and either need a sleeve joint (and risk a small leak) or have it welded.
The mid pipes would not slide over the stock exhaust because the expanded part is on their axlebacks. Quote:

If you want to go the clamp route, use this product (https://www.summitracing.com/parts/vpe-1176).
It's a full seal all around that fits perfect over the stock pipe. Before I went full borla atak catback, I had #60606 xpipe butt clamped to the stock npp muffler. No leaking issues and great quality. |

That's awesome!
Side note, I had my bank 1 cat replaced under warranty. Apparently it went bad @ 10k miles. Thank you warranty! |

Anxiously awaiting this product! I believe it will prove to be very popular.
Just let me know when it's available and I'll buy for sure! ![]() I'll also share the install and results with other C6 members! Thank you Borla Exhaust! |

I'm hoping there will be some announcement about a new product offering, but just to be sure I was expecting to inguire directly to Borla if no new products are mentioned in the near future. The more inquires the better, so give'em a call as well! We're looking for part #'s 55940 & 55941 |
