Agreed. But then you have multiple years of events at 256GB per shot and you want to keep the footage and then you are buying terabytes of disk space on you computer just to keep it. Forget it if you have a laptop with limited disk expansion. 4 cards worth of recordings would need a terabyte just to keep.

But when trying to see it on my computer there is no sound????
(I have the computer not in mute :-))
Is there a set up we have to do for the sound in the PDR recording process?

Ensure you have the option to record sound checked in the PDR menu.

And that it's not in valet mode doing the recording.

Also check to make sure your computer can decode the audio portion of the video with the codecs you have installed

I was in audio recording
With quick time : no sound
With Vlc : got sound
No car issue (I'm safe ;-))
