NT01s will definitely a lot better in terms of longevity you can simply run them till the cords and they provide the same grip (in fact even better just before you cord them lol)

If you need to run OEM width (10/11") you probably don't even need a spacer and so longer studs upfront because of the offsets.

wheel specs?
19x10 24mm offset front
19x11 42mm offset rear

Thanks. Do you have close up pictures of the fitment?
Any spacers up front? And the camber specs?

I was reading through the SCCA street class guidelines for modification, and based on my understanding I dont think you can use a 10mm spacer and compete in A-Street.

if you look at section 13.4 - wheels it states that you can use any type wheel that is the same width as standard and has a maximum of +/- 7mm offset from the OEM wheel.

then it states that wheel spacers may be used provided the resultant combination complies with the offset requirements.

If you use a 10mm spacer then you would essentially be giving your wheels a 10mm offset from factory and that would violate that rule, you would want a 7mm spacer to get the maximum allowable clearance for your 305/30/20s if you wanted the biggest spacer you could legally use and stay in A-Street.

Who was the shop and what were your impressions of their work?

The shop is Texas Track Works in South Ft. Worth. I have a friend who left a reputable shop to go work for them. If you attend an AutoX or track day around DFW you'll usually find a car with their decal.

Overall, they're very knowledgeable but everyone in the area uses them so appointments come weeks in advance. If anything they have the best deal on alignments. It's a yearly fee and you can use it as much as you like.

I don't have any pics and don't need any spacers or camber plates. We are able to get up to -2.5 camber up front front. The 19 inch rim helps with the clearance of course and going 305/30/19 is a plus as well

Thanks, I'll check them out. I assume they lifted your car properly, when it comes to that even the dealer scares me.

As far the lift points for our cars, I know the pucks are useful but I've had it up on a couple lifts and haven't had any issues without the aftermarket pieces. The alignment rack at TTW is impressive. Kyle, one of the owners has always been happy to answer any questions.

This car is very easy to lift with pinch weld adapters on my two post assemytric lift. I do use the cheap hockey puck trick under the pinch weld adapters to clear the side plastic rocker extensions.

There has to be other differences between a 1LE and regular SS as far as the front suspension assembly goes. There is a post in the suspension section showing an Apex 19x10 with +25 offset (only 1 mm difference!) And his RIMS scraped the strut at anything more than -1.2. Unless someone's alignment machine is way off, I can't see how there can be that much difference.....

Magnetic ride? Or was the regular SS equipped with it?
