Maybe i should have done that in the first place but i didn't see any promoter in the tube it was shipped in unless it fell out since the box was in half pretty much LOL

Yah it makes it harder to apply since I normally peel the tape as I push down, but I'll give it a go. I asked as well and they said it goes right on the tape (not the red part you peel off)

That is the reason I contacted them. I didn't get the adhesive promoter or instructions. The tube was cracked in two places so it probably fell out. Vendor was very nice about it. Sent me the adhesive promoter today.

Should receive it middle of next week. Too cold to put it on anyway. Freakin mid-atlantic weather.

Hi:
The spoiler is very easy to install.
1. clean up the rear window and wait until it dry (Glen recommends alcohol and acetone -and- installing when it is warm. See his posts above.)
2. remove the red strip from the spoiler
3. use the adhesive promoter, wipe it on black tape
4. attach the spoiler on window from side edge to the other side edge.
5. push down the spoiler to make the air comes out.

That is it.

This is the first I've heard of any promoter. I did not receive it. I don't recall anyone using It before these few posts.

I didn't get the tube of promoter or any instructions. Mine came in a round tube broken in the middle. I did install mine on the driveway on a warm and sunny day. I let the spoiler lay on the driveway in the full sun fro three hours and then let the car sit in the sun for another three hours after the install. I just looked at mine this morning (3rd day since install) and the corners have pulled back very slightly. The very slight gap looks OK for now but if it gets worse I'll probably just pull the spoiler off and forget it. I'm not going to stress over this thing and try to redo it for a little $40 cosmetic change.

Just got mine in the mail let it sit inside all day @74 degrees, hit it with a quick heat gun and got it installed. Looks really nice! But the passenger corner front tape wont stick the last inch! Ugh guess im pulling it off and putting some new tape on

Looks great man! Definitely gives the back a nice touch. I waited it out too till the summer and got mine back on tight.

Hey thanks for that. Yeah, it went on so easy. Literally took like 2 minutes with my daughter helping me. Fit is very nice.

After mine sat in the 95° sun down here in Florida for five days straight, about a foot of the left side came up. The tape showed all sorts of dirt underneath it, obviously a bad install on my part. So the tape was stripped, cleaned, new tape added, adhesion promoter used, solid as a rock now.

Yea ill be honest the tape it comes with is crap. After mine came off on the sides when it was colder i stripped down the adhesive double sided tape and used thin 3M double sided tape and nothing else, sticks like a mofo...

Hopefully mine's stays put. I really cleaned the area well and also added about 3 inches of the 3M tape to each end in the middle. I guess we'll see. It really does look fantastic, so I will redo it if I have to.
