I do know as of late turn around time on non-race stuff is less then 10 days for the most part. Plus the car is still drivable without the blower so you can still DD if needed ... and if you ask nicely it can be fixed even quicker

Yeah they run off of the belt that runs all of your secondary stuff so you would just need to take it off. I don't know if people are getting more mileage out of them now but I remember them needing to be rebuilt after a while like a turbo. It's good to hear that they're turning them around sooner now. I remember people used to get desperate and try to do it themselves by "making" their own seals years ago...not a good idea LOL.

I can't speak to that one. My recommendation though would be to wait until you can swing the whole thing if you have any plans of going beyond the stock boost and get the full Maggie. I think it addresses heat soak the best out of everything out there, so you should be able to get some serous power out of it.
Also, don't worry about the warranties with these things...they're all garbage and BS marketing tools to generate sales. You'll never get paid out if something goes wrong, especially the full amount.

My opinion is, a non-intercooled supercharger in a hot place like you live would be a bad choice. The IATs will be very high, which means the power will be disappointing after spending so much money. My guess is the Procharger, which has an intercooler included, would give you more hp for your money than that unit.

I believe you can buy a Maggie for under 7k with the intercooler and if you can tune your own car you can make 540 rwhp without any issues. I did try the non intercooled package and it made 484. Now I'm going to install the intercooler and I should be in the 540-560's depending on the pulley I use. You will have higher IAT's with the non intercooled setup and probably need the intercooled package in the Pheonix are. You have to decide if you want instant boost as you'll get with the Maggie or delayed boost as you'll get with the procharger. I have a buddy of mine who has the dyno we go to all the time and his only made 513 with a P1 procharger. Its your money we are just trying to give you the best info we can.

One more thing, a boosted car in AZ could really benefit from Methanol injection. I know It's more money but it will eliminate the worries of high IATs. It will provide safeguards against detonation while making more power at the same time. I'm fairly versed in such things so feel free to ask me whatever. Good luck! You're in for a treat.

Isn't meth injection kind of on the risky side for someone just starting out?

If you run the blower as they come from the manufacturer and don't have any plans for further increases it's hard to beat the motor warranty that eforce or eldelbrock offers. There claims are on the money 580 to the wheels with there can tune on a dynojet or 553 on a mustang dyno the torque was the most of the blowers aswell especially the centrifugal. They got a bad wrap on the LS3 but the LT1 is different story.. everyone is talking about the IAT'S and I know why.. it took about 3 mos. to get the air or pockets of air out of the blowers heatexchanger/ intercooler system. If I would of jacked up the nose got the small fill tune to the highest point it could of bypassed the time.
Reguardless of what you chose the fuel system won't do much more than where all the kits are you will need band aides like meth to lower temps or raise octane to increase power.. A cam shaft change will be required to increase the fuel lobe since the high side is driven off it. Probably a 4k part and labor task then through in another 1500 for lt4 pump and injectors.. now yout in it so take the heads off and knock the compression back to 10:1 or so.. this is pricey job since the motor has to be pulled unlike the ls3 where you can get the timing cover and oil pan off thanks to silicon and gaskets the LT1 is all tight clearanced and use high temp rtv to seal it.. so to do it right pull the motor.. I haven't noticed high iats like I did in the LS3 I could feel the hp loss once the temps got up.. in the LT1 I can't hardly feel any loss at all.. the shop made 3 passes no cool downs with idle and computer tweaks.. all passes on the mustang where 551 to 553 rwhp.. if that been my old ls3 it been 620 on cold pass then probably 525 once it got hot.. Here is a ZL1 with no cam mods running half 93 and half e85 maybe e77 or abouts, smaller pulley, and 1 3/4 headers vs eforce on 93 and tiny Borla 1 5/8 headers.. Zl1 2nd gear.. SS 3rd gear. Pretty close pulls but wife was driving .. He dynoed 630 w e85 and we dynoed 570 on the same dyno on 93.. if he was on 93 she would of had him I think he did 570 something aswell on 93. https://youtu.be/bruKdOcKHAc There all good choices.. if you going all out later on I'd get a AGP turbo kit or custom turbo kit. That was the best decision I ever made on my 5tg gen.. sitting at 746 to the wheels on 93 with no band aides! (Meth)

![]() I just wouldn't put ANY stock in ANY of the warranties. Do some research and you'll see how claims are handled. The complaints are endless. They might say the name of the company who makes the blower is the one warrantying everything when you're buying it, but when you file a claim you deal with a 3rd party. I work with contracts on a daily basis and these warranty agreements for all of them are designed to give the consumer a false sense of security while really just limiting the manufacturer's liability. Make sure you read your paperwork carefully if this is important to you.

Please post your finding on the 16 eforce systems where they turned down customers instead of generalized working for a 3rd party warranty claim company. To my knowledge they didn't offer this on my LS3 blower when I registered it.. I do know they sent me parts up to 5 years for free never asking for any money what's so ever. They even changed the bearings and did a pm service for free I sent them to inspect the blower to make ready for a sale to get a clean bill of health in order to get the most money out of it. NC ever.. I would suggest calling eforce and talk with ed in the calibration dept or chris in customer service to get the facts.. Calibration@edelbrock.com
