Oh, so the fobs are linked to corresponding door settings from factory? In other words, one fob is linked to setting 1 and the other to setting 2? How are you supposed to know which fob is attached to setting 1 and setting 2? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Just mark them...#1, #2 or whatever you want so you don't grab the wrong one.

OK, I finally got this figured out. The fobs are factory assigned to either #1 or #2 memory buttons (I was trying to program one of them). The car recognizes which fob you have and if Auto Recall is on, will return the seat and mirror adjustments to your saved settings. Chevy should have just marked them #1 and #2 so you don't pick up the wrong one as you head out the door. Hope this helps!

Check page 51 in manual. When you get in and start it up, doesn't it flash on the dash? Mine always does, every single time. The fobs are most definitely tied to the memory settings.

I don't usually use bluetooth. Heading to the store in a few, I'll turn on the bluetooth and see if I still get the message.

I have mine programmed as well, but the system will only set the seat to the desired position about half of the time. I can press the memory button on the door and it will go to the correct place, but it is troubling that it only works automatically half of the time.

Ok, back from the store. Still got the "You are driver 1 for memory features" message then came the bluetooth connected message. Went to 3 different places and checked each time I started.

It only flashes for a few times after you switch fobs as a reminder. So if you always use #1 it won't flash until you switch to #2. Then it will remind you you are #2 for a few ignition cycles. The seat memory recall is definitely linked to the corresponding fob.

Old thread but this is the problem
I’m having. When I pick my desired seat and mirrors position, than press SET button until beeps once , than pressing desire seat memory position let say “1” , vehicle beeps twice, which should be process accomplished. But... when I change seat setting again and long press “1” to regain saved setting, noting happened. Same thing with Exitit Eject option. I saved seat position all the way back for easy exit, than by using SET saved to Exit button. Seat never moved in my exit. I have Easy exiting in vehicle settings turned on. In my case, it looks like car won’t move the seat to any memorized position. Any hints? Thx |
