I'm a little worried about losing the back end, sounds like I won't.

I thought the manual said to dump the clutch. Is that not the case?
No, that is not the case.

This is copy/pasted right from the owners manual.

For best results with launch control, Do Not sidestep the clutch.

The Auto might have launch control but like the stick it will probably not hook on the street with stock tires. I haven't tried it at the track yet, but I might once I get some drag radials. Great concept but will probably work better on the stick cars.

I lost control of my car when i shifted into second using LC... Any advice? The tired never had full grip.. Back end started going out to the right.. I recovered but I was out of the road and into the grassy side. Part of me thinks the road conditions were not 100% as it was a bit dusty. But the car gave out pretty quickly.
Also I click it twice and I'm in stability mode or w.e, thats for newbies to go racing with, correct? I want that.. Hold it down and it all turns off, thats a no no for newbies, right?

idk if im doing it right but i get so much wheel spin using LC.

I have a hard time believing dumping the clutch, per the LC instructions, would ever be quicker with a stiff sidewalled radial.

2600rpm and a tad a of clutch slip would be quicker imo

I do NOT go into second while the tires are still spinning in first, i will ride the rev limiter until the tires catch then go.

if you go to second and the motor over comes again to redline, it is very likely to spin the car around.

going to second while still spinning is not going to get you going any faster. might only be good to show off, and maybe put you in a wall.

Personally I find LC ineffective and dangerous. Used it once and will never again.
