Clutch Fluid - Brake Fluid
Is the hydraulic clutch fluid and brake fluid shared on the 2017 Camaros? I thought there were some issues with this on the 5th gen cars and some aftermarket solutions.
Anyone have pictures of this that they could post? Thanks!

I haven't heard of any clutch issues with the new car, but then again it's so new not many have tracked it yet. |

I've been wondering the same. I separated my clutch and brake reservoirs on my 2013 1LE, and have been watching the color of the fluid in the single reservoir on my 2016 SS. The 13's fluid changed color really quickly. So far at just over 5k, no color change on the 16.

I will also go as far to say rev-match will substantially reduce syncro wear. I think the 6gen has a totally difference clutch. And while the changes to your hydraulic system fixed your issues, generally the root cause for what you're describing is in the clutch/pressure plate, slave, or slave-pressure plate geometry. dont get me wrong, if i could fix it with separating the fluids over dropping the trans, I would do the same. |

I have been wondering about the clutch resevoir myself. With my 5th gens I did the separate reservoir mod.
My M6 SS has 5K and probably over 100 runs at Atco. So far all good on the fluid color. And has been said before 5th gens would not go this far without discolorization of the fluid. This winter I plan to service all the fluids anyway. Edit: Having posted this I went out and looked at the fluid, just in case. Yup I better get out the turkey baster. Still more longevity in the 6th gen fluid.

At 6,500 miles my fluid is noticable dirty. So I swapped out some fluid. After maybe 50+ 1/4 runs. It doesn't look like there is much room for a seperate reservoir. Especially with the Mishimito catch can. I am not sure if the clutch was giving me a problem on two runs last week. I had trouble with second gear. But no clutch sticking to the floor kind of problems.
