Of course, with the backup Camera, it probably wouldn't be needed anymore, but I just keep thinking about my 2010, which didn't have a backup camera or even backup sensors. My side mirrors were adjusted for my highway driving (way out to side...could not see behind me in them unless I leaned way over)...this feature would have made backup up much easier!
I doubt this system is available in the 1SS. Think this is a part of the Rear park assist feature that comes with 2SS or CNL package.

Saw the garage issues video. It just wanted everyone who drove by to see the beauty parked in it.

Tr6... If I were you... I would have taken a week off from work and just play with it day in and day out.. hahaha

Also, I know the value of your car shot up by several thousands and there are suggestions to keep it in garage and only drive it on weekends... but in your place... I wouldnt have cared about the resale so much as enjoying the car the way it is meant to be ... thats just my opinion though..

Info like this... makes me go crazy waiting for mine.. although I will not have the mirror thing in 1SS
My 99 Olds Aurora does it too. Maybe it's a GM thing?

I'm so glad that I got the lighting and conv. package with my 2LT as well as the navigation.

I just want to be fully covered in terms of the massive blindspots.

As well as setting the side mirrors correctly. I should be fine with seeing out of this beast!

THANK YOU!!! It truly is THE best car I have EVER owned. Not just the power but literally everything. The trunk opening is the only "issue" i see but there is a REALLLLLY easy fix for that. I tell my wife not to pack 5 million suitcases when we go on a road trip. DONE!

The "event" i mentioned earlier is that I got contact by Chevy Communications, whom were also the brainchild of this whole weekend. Their marketing division to be exact and they will be featuring me as well as the vehicle for their quarterly magazine release. There will be a quick phone and email interview with me. I do not have any dates or anything yet I have just been contacted by the journalist. I'll post it up whenever we get the ball rolling more!

I am LOVING the fact that I own my own business, so I always set my own hours. Since the weekend though, not only do I have work stuff but also the whole media stuff too which is keeping me busy haha. It's the FANTASTIC busy type though, not the "I want to finish 20 bottles of jack" type.

Funny thing about resale... I was going to be driving this vehicle for about 2-3 years and upgrade to a ZL1 (if they even make it lol). But that went out the window, I just don't see myself getting rid of this car. This is a COLLECTORS car now, it won't be garage queened as I firmly believe on DRIVING cars. I am however... about to buy a used Malibu from Huffiness Chevy as a beater this weekend LOL.

This was TOTAL first class by Chevy. ALL THE WAY. They really did a nice job. Very impressed.

I keep watching that video that was posted by Turk.

Great job CHEVY!

Good Call.

I need 18" snow tires and matching wheels (rims) for the winter.

It truly is worth the wait. It is brutal, I mean... yall seen my posts bitching and moaning. Hell, at lunch I bitched the Chevy regional + zone managers, AO and Tom P themselves... I did apologize to them after the event LOL. I told them I hate you all and love you all for this. Because THE only things I KNEW before the unveil was... My dealership is flying me + wife, full track pass, touring the track, possibly meeting Danica Patrick and Possibly driving the gen 6 camaro...

They are aware the little hold up for vehicles but after 3800 it is in the hands of the logistics companies they use and not GM nor Chevy. And that even depends on the guy or gal working THAT day your vehicle gets delivered to their lot. How he or she plans the lot and how shipping goes. Chevy sadly has nothing to do with it.
