Enjoy talking about owl boners with the camaro owners you meet in person.

Personally, I've never seen a birds penis. If they look anything like that then I am jealous!

Nice try. You do realize they (M6G) are simply responding with whatever they can as the catfish thing actually sticks.

What does actually bother me a bit is the trim around the shifter. Looks cheap to me. I might have to pull the trim and see about covering it with a thin foam and durable fabric or even a thin pliable brown leather.

That assumption was recently substantiated when Craig set the SS/KA national record at 11.31 sec ET and 118.73 mph. What he has done to extract over 500 hp out of the 455 under the limited changes allowed in Super Stock by NHRA. The '74 Pontiac Trans Am Firebird was a very formidable performer even in showroom stock condition
What does this have to do with anything?

Not only is it totally irrelevant, the comment makes absolutely no sense.

I think some of the Mustang gang needs psychiatric help. Maybe they should take a Rorschach test.

I mean, come on. Comparing a car's interior to an owl boner...Saying a car hood looks like a toilet bowl lid.

It's just sad, really.

The greatest laughing point in these comparisons is that "Shelby" had to get involved for Ford to became eligible to be considered a competitor. The GT is nothing more than a performance joke in this arena and has been since the the return of the Camaro. If I gave 2c about interior styling or what color the stitching was in my seats I'd go drive my (insert brand here). Performance cars need to perform well and the Camaro simply does it better.

They are just grabbing for straws. Desperation at its finest.

You do know the GT350 is built in house on the same assembly line as every other Mustang right. Shelby has nothing to do with the car other than the name being on it.

Thank you for making my exact point. GM didn't need special branding or select custom tuned limited run models pretending to be something they are not. Any one of the SS models will crush a GT, even the "fake Shelby models".

Dont worry. Ford will soon drop a Mach 1, Bullit, Cobra, GT500, Super Snake, Boss, or whatever other "special" model they spit out every 2 weeks. They make like 40 versions of Mustang.

Its easy to see that the 6th gen Camaro outperforms its equivalent trims in the 6th gen Mustang. But to say it's a joke seems like you're lashing out at it in anger. You insinuate that because it does not perform as well as Camaro, then it does not perform at all. . . that's a bit of a leap there.

The 6th gen Mustang performs very well when compared to its competitors, direct and indirect. Are you denying this? If so, what is your reasoning?

'11+ Mustang GT's were/are faster than '10+ Camaro's at the strip. Does that mean the 5th gen Camaros were/are a joke of a performer there? I say no.

Feel free to enlighten me if I've made any logical fallacies.

40 seems like a bit of a stretch.

Models/trims built by Ford, not some 3rd party, include:

S550
Mustang
Mustang Ecoboost
Mustang GT
GT350

S197
Mustang
Mustang GT *(C/S, Bullitt)
GT500
Boss302 (LS)

SN95
Mustang
Mustang GT *(GTS, Bullitt)
Mach 1
Cobra
Cobra R

*these are pkgs on a GT trim car.

Companies like Roush, Saleen, SMS, Shelby American, etc. make cars using Mustang as a platform yes, but their offerings are not built in the same production line as Ford's units.
