I have a cai, MRT v2, ported tb, elite catch can. I Feel like the automatic tranny is sometimes very stupid would the tune be the solution

Personally I would say go with new wheels as I do not like the steelies on the Camaro.

Correct! I just got my ride lowered, and had to get it aligned. Man, after the alignment, huge difference! After my alignment, a few weeks later, i had my sway bars put on, and I didn't need another alignment.... I hope that helps!

I think they look sharp with my car but the weight is my issue. Other factor is I'll probably get 20in wheels and would need new tires. I hate the weak 18 in wheel selection. Do any of you have an idea how much $$$ I'm looking at for a tune?

Honestly if you're concerned with the wheel weight but don't want to put 20s since like you said, you'd have to buy tires as well. I would HIGHLY recommend a set of the 18" 1LT wheels. They work with your factory tires and are the lightest stock wheel setup.

As for the tune it depends on what the tuner charges but usually 300-400 is a good guess

Would used not new be the only way to get those wheels?

Pretty much. The only way to get them new is through a dealer and IMO I wouldn't do that as they would over charge big time.

X factor,

Was ur car pulling to either side?? That's what I'm worried about.. that my car is pulling hard to the right.. and then the steering wheel is crooked moving to the right as well. Tom I get to go to work so 10 miles round trip. Thursday I will get it aligned. Hope that fixes my issues

An alignment should definitely fix that. If the person doing the alignment knows what they're doing.

Signed up for my auto cross event today, it's on Sunday it's like 45 minutes away but should be good fun. Stupid job gets in the way of me getting on here.

KJ saw that you got the bars, how do you like them? Still waiting on mine

They look nice debating on if I should wipe them down with some rubbing alcohol since they are a little dirty. Get my car back this weekend and will have them installed next weekend but they are really light!
