Difference between GM OEM ZR1 95MM / Katech 95MM ported

Is there a major difference between these both throttle bodies?
Looking to now get LT2 Manifold Package from GPI but I wanted to see if there was a major difference between these both, and I ask this because I work at a Chevy Dealership and if there really isn't a big difference, I can just Order a OEM ZR1 95MM throttle body and pair it up with the LT2 manifold ported when I do buy it

No major difference, the Katech version gets ported, that’s all. For most NA and blower applications the stock ZR1 95mm is plenty and easy to tune as well. It’s plenty of TB for an LT2 intake package.

If you’re shooting for big power on a blower then that’s a different story, then I’d jump over the 95mm (ported or not) and go right to the 103mm.

+1

Having over-ported an LT5 TB in the past, I can say that tuning for it because quite interesting, and I started over with a new one, lol. I just didn't port it as much, lol.

I've run both ported and unported and I'd agree that for most applications stock is fine and that's what I'm running now on my 2300 and ran the same one on my Lt2 ported IM. Runs great either way.
