Only way I’m Going under 90F is when it’s 45 degrees or less outside. I think lowest I’ve seen my mat temps were like 85F.

Warm days like 80F cruising could be 125F. Soon as you get into a pull, or just even a bit of boost though it will drop some. It can go from 125 to 115 quickly.

Sitting idle. Of course temps can get to 150f. Soon as car starts moving though , even just a few mph temps drop drastically.

This isn’t the case on the stock blower, which is pretty much what we’re all discussing. Once that stock blower is hot and air entering is warm, the blower really takes forever to cool Down, if it even does.

The benefit of the 2650 is you simply don’t have this heat soak. As long as your moving, mat temps will always be good. Of course unless it’s very hot ambient temps then of course physics come into play.

Which is a huge liability on the track (esp roadcourse, drag as well), think how much power you're losing (plus relatively low boost). No wonder dyno numbers on these cars (stock) are all over the place, from 520 to almost 600 rwhp

540-560 on dynojets are what they typically all run.

The smaller maggie is marginally better. Hence why it came off for the 2650.

I just posted the results from a 2650 on my Brothers C7Z and it has the Cordes expansion tank. 35-40 degree day cruising down the highway at 50+ mph MAT are still 90+. Now the ZL1 does have better air flow but you still are not getting down to 20 degrees over ambient. Either way it doesn't matter like I already said previously. The benefits of the 2650 is that it doesn't heat up on a hard pull like the smaller blower and it cools back down faster.

Not hating at all...It is better but it still ran hot on a H/C car with a 80mm pulley. The 2650 was the way to go for this particular setup. On a bolt-on car it would work great.
