True,
So then what will the 2300 which most will be sufficient with, whats the max HP that the 2300 will put out?

We are at 880 without being at max blower RPM with a regular 2300. Power is backed up with a 145 trap speed at 4100lbs and 86 degrees ambient.

What are the differences other than port injection capability

Well ShizzySupra went 9.5 @ 145 or so with it and made like 880whp. Both the 2300 and Whipple 2.9 have been 900+ whp on different platforms. Now depending in application it may be beneficial to move up to the next size at a lower power level if the engine is going to see sustained high rpm with little cool down time. Being you can spin a bigger unit slower and make the same power and reduce heat. I would say under 800whp the 2300 is sufficient for most if not all applications.

2300-R is really for those that want to extract every ounce of power they can at that level.

Just being up front: ANY big power PD build is going to need more cooling capacity. Period.

I think we might see the 2650 in the first quarter, the 2300R should be a little later. We have to get the COPO 2650's to GM and then to some of our other customers that want to update their COPO's so they can be ready for the NHRA and NMCA next spring. We had the Corvette version on display at SEMA and it is really a serious piece of BOOST. You can go on Magnusons Facebook and take a look at the Vet. Its also serious and should be at the Red List in Cali in December. Its a wicked Vet. The capability of these new blowers is gonna change the PD world next year. So get ready and save some cash.
