![]() You need to relax kid, you were pretty broad in generalizing SS owners drowning financially over their cars. And it looks like you scored a deal on your RS. So congrats to you.

Oh, you’re a kid in debt. The wording proves it. I’m done with you.

Same here man I'm loving saving the gas mileage the car sounds fantastic and it's quite fast for what it is. There's no downside to owning the V6 this gen. And the bottom line is the V8 is not worth an extra $10,000. And that's how much it would have cost new for me an extra 10K to get the extra two cylinders to knock one second off of 0 to 60. to each their own. But I love my V6 |

I don't understand how the term "sports car" keeps getting thrown around? Just because it's a V6?
The blown 3.8 was only rated at 240 hp, the 303 hp models had the LS4 V8

that's a good deal man. and that's another cool engine. That's the nice thing with Camaro this gen it's got an engine for everybody. I like the V6 better than the turbo 4. but it's personal preference

There are going to be plenty of people who may have buyer's regret....about a great deal of things. There are also going to be plenty of people who are simply stupid about making the correct choices, be it a car, a house, or over indulging on stupid mods... Quote:
However, my preference is. If I want something to drive that's economical, I'll buy a Honda... Quote:
The first gen GTP's were 240hp....the 2nd gen cars, which mine was, had 260hp stock.

I keep using the term sports car. When it can put down almost 1G on the skid pad, and only weighs 3400ish pounds, what else would it be? Those are seriously incredible numbers. Plus, the V6 has no extra muscle. It’s all useable and balanced. When the 370Z is considered an entry level sports car, then I consider a V6 camaro one because it beats it in almost every aspect. |
