What would be the point? By the time you add all the plumbing it will weigh almost as much as the N/A V8. The Gas mileage will be almost the same as a V8 and it will need to run on Premium fuel. So you have all that power but it will sound like a can of bees.

None of the 6th gen Camaro reveals were at a car show.

The main reveal was Belle Isle

The T4 was at a special event.

The ZL1 was shown off at the T4 event.

The 1LE was just randomly shown off a week before Chicago.

The ZL1 1LE was at a NASCAR race.

I wouldn't be shocked if we one day see the 420 HP 430 LBS FT of torque turbo 3.6 V6 motor from the Cadillac ATS-V show up as a slightly lower cost option to the SS!!! That will be an awesome combo if it ever happens!!!

I dunno. I think it might cannibalize SS sales. GM could have put the LT1 in the ATS and CTS but didn't.

Is this the official reveal? I hope GM has actual pictures ready to post online because the screen shots people take of their TV has generally made the car look bad. It happened with the 5th gen refresh and 6th gen reveal.

I would assume there will be a GM/Chevy press release within minutes of the reveal on CBS. I for one won't be taking any screenshots so you don't have to worry about that from me lol

Definitely not the first time they’ve revealed the Camaro on a morning show. More like... at least the third time. Although the 2016 Camaro was leaked early technically on the morning show last time.
