Power Steering tight

The power steering on my 2SS fifty is quite tight. In touring mode I think it should steer lighter than it does. More like a regular car. Not a lot of difference between tour and track. My Z06 steered very light in tour and in each mode you could feel it tighten up and track mode was not a one hand steering. My Camaro I can handle one hand in sport but gets tiring very fast.
Do I have a problem or are they all that way.

I can defensively tell the difference from tour to track. I drive in tour 24-7 because of the streets here but 100% if i put it in track it is very tight to where you can feel it.

There's a pretty dramatic difference between track and touring steering in mine. Tour and Sport are a lot closer. The biggest difference is the low speed weight. At lower speeds, tour can be turned with one finger. It gets heavier as you pick up speed, though. No matter what speed I've tried it, Track is a workout.

If it really bothers you i would take it to the dreaded dealer and show them what you mean, or possibly drive another Camaro there to feel if any difference. I would think there is some type of linkage that can be adjusted internally but not sure on that.

have you tried to go into the control panel and put it into "tour mode" there and see if there is any diffrence then just doing it from the mode? I have read a few post where people were claiming that the driving modes would on occasion not seem to change anything .As i recall in the control panel its either based from mode selection or tour .

drive mode under driver settings is probably set to a certain mode instead of auto which the drive mode selector would change. but you should be able to tell the difference.

Yeah, if you don't have a discernable difference in feel between track and tour, then either you have the settings configured manually (vs. auto select) or something is wrong with your system.

when I brought my ss home the steering was stiff as well.... I figure out someone had set the stiff steering on all the driving modes (the mylink settings let you customize the modes)

I reset it and steering was nice and easy in tour/sport afterwards.

I must be a strange one because I prefer the track setting and have kept the steering set to it. Only time I swap off is after an arm day workout because I can't turn the wheel haha.

I believe that you can select Touring mode, but if the Driving mode steering is set to track, it will be stiff steering.
