Supplier Pricing
I was doing a search here and found out that my employer is listed as eligible for the supplier discount. Neat!
But then I see over here that the 2016 Camaro isn't eligible, but does say "Check back for vehicle availability at the start of production." Think the Camaro6 will get this discount? If so, what's the process of using said discount?

Its isnt available because the car is not being produced yet. The site says check back around the start of production which is a few weeks off.

Looks like this is the explanation, as noted in the Rules and Guidelines:

Ive got a 2016 2SS on order. If supplier pricing is not available on release I may give it up.

Supplier pricing is more than Invoice. Rule of thumb at least $100 and not more than $200 over Invoice. This is not carved in stone but what I recall as the pattern over the last several years.
Invoice can be a better deal depending on document fee, which I personally believe should be illegal but is not. Laborsmith |

I am hoping that they don't hold back supplier or employee pricing once our orders start..

Next year I just need someone to give me supplier pricing. Our company gets it with Ford but not Chevy.

I was one of the first in the entire country to get supplier pricing on my C7. As a matter of fact, many people claimed I was lying and that it would never be offered on the Corvette.
It was about a week after I got my Supplier pricing that others started to follow in the Midwest. I still don't think dealers offer supplier pricing in warm-weather states like Florida and California. As a result, MANY C7 buyers flew to places like Kansas City to buy their C7's. In my case, when you count the discount, less sales tax, and the restriction on what dealers can charge for "Admin Fees", I was able to save about $6,500 on my C7. To give you some time frame reference, I believe that the C7's started hitting the dealers in August and I was able to get the discount at the very end of March the following year. That is approximately 8 months until they were willing to do it. Chances are that it will be offered on Camaro's a little quicker due to more availability and more units produced. Also, there is very serious competition from Ford at the next lot over, so they will be motivated to move them. The C7 does not really have direct competition. I am very interested in the new Vert....I am hoping that supplier pricing will be available around this time next year. |

The C7 started production in August but due to a quality problem took several weeks to get to the dealers. Most of the first few thousand were trucked to Nashville as there were too many builds for BGAP to handle. Employee and Supplier Pricing was first offered by Stanford Chevrolet (located in Dearborn, just south of Solidarity House and the new GM Building) sometime in the first or second week of March, so about seven months. At the time it was considered to be an unusually long wait from production start to Program Pricing being approved.
I am thinking it takes about two months normally. And buyers should remember Supplier Pricing normally ranges about $100 to $200 over invoice although a quick glance when the two different pricing charts were online indicated to me the range for the Camaro will be closer to $50 to $150 over invoice.
