TPMS Sensors

I need a second set of TPMS sensors for my winter tire/wheel setup. When I went to the dealer, the parts guy told me I needed the kit (TIRE PRESSURE SENSOR - GM (13598787)) but that the kit did not include the TPMS nut for some reason. https://www.thatgmpartsguy.com/oem-p...PWxheWVyXzE%3D

For the nut, he gave me this part number TPMS SENSOR NUT - GM (13581557) but on THATGMPARTSGUY, it says that part number is incorrect for my vehicle (16 SS). https://www.thatgmpartsguy.com/oem-p...PWxheWVyXzU%3D

I couldn't find a corresponding part number for the nut alone, only the valve assembly (TPMS SENSOR VALVE ASSEMBLY - GM (13507403)) which seems to include the nut. https://www.thatgmpartsguy.com/oem-p...Y4LWdhcw%3D%3D

My questions are:
1) Does the sensor come with everything I need or do I need to purchase the nut or valve assembly as well?
2) If I do need just the nut, is there a part number for that alone or does it only come with the valve assembly?

Thanks for the help

The nut doesnt come with the sensor, your local parts counter will probably have them. The nut part was all I needed beyond the sensor. The sensor includes the stem, valve and cap.

Correct sensor for a v8 ss is ACDelco 13598787. I think the v6 has a different part #.
The nut is 13581557.

When you mount the sensor, make it hug the rim wall the best you can as shown.

Will these automatically work with the car or do they need to be programmed?

Find someone that can clone the sensors so you don't have to reprogram them every time you swap wheels.

I bought an extra set of factory rear wheels to mount some drag radials on. So I need the TPMS on the extra set of wheels? I want to swap them out each time I go drag racing.

I am probably going to grab mine from Wild Hammer
https://wildhammermotorsports.com/ca...eneral-motors/
They have an option to add the nuts, and seem to be a decent price.

Scratch that, it looks like ShopChevyParts has them for a bit cheaper.
Part 84413355 (says same as 13598787)
Part 84413358 (says same as 13581557)
$135 before shipping for four.
