Need help with the fog lights

Hello guys, recently I hit an animal in the middle of the road and it broke my daytime light and I got a replacement and wanted to know if it’s just unscrewing and unplugging it or if I have to take it to a mechanic or professional thanks have a great day.

So I have a preliminary question...

Is the fascia damaged at all or is it just your DRL?

The DRL should just be a unplug, plug and thats it. I haven't dealt with this but I imagine it is not a theatrical ongoing to replace an LED board. The problem you are going to have is removing the fascia to get to the light. I have read and heard from a lot of people that removing the fascia is a PITA. Lots of clips and bolts.

If you filed a claim, insurance should pay for it if you take it somewhere. If not, and you trust yourself taking the fascia off, go for it! The light itself should be cake to replace. Try searching on here for the removal of the fascia or bumper replacement. IF you can't find anything on here (which I highly doubt you will find nothing) try shooting American Authority an email. They make a whole bumper replacement and may be able to point you in the right direction.

Cheers

If you have a lift or reliable stable jack stands take off the wheel and unclip the inner fender liner. Should be plig and play unless you jave more damage I'd anticipate needing basic hand tools and trim removal tools.
