Your peak power is falling after 6000 so to keep powering into that you're intentionally letting your engine lose power while trying to accelerate. If you plan on shifting when you see 5900 you will initiate your shift around 6100. Then put yourself in a rpm position that is increasing in power from the point that you release the clutch again.

If you look at a hp graph you can see the info. At 6300rpm what is your hp and what is your torq?
Vs what was it at 6000rpm?
That's not true at all. I've tested that out myself thinking the same thing and I've always ran slower. The car runs faster shifting at 6400rpm. My car runs 11.26 shifting at 6400 and it only runs 11.6's shifting at 6k.

Went 12.2 here in AZ air, using the factory launch control (~4.2k rpm) went out on a hard street tire (305/45R17 NT555R2) which I regret as I fought the car all night best 60’ I could cut was a 2.03 on the launch control car went 8.06 to the 1/8th and 12.26 to the 1/4

Gonna go back out here soon with a Hoosier d06/qtp and a couple other tweaks and see if we can’t get this thing decently into the 11’s before I change up the set up

Your MPH is there for around the 11.8 to 11.9 1/4 mile. You'll like the hoosiers and your 60' should drop a good amount.
