So the "low eleven seconds" to a mid eleven seconds gets your dander up? I did not quote 11.0, 11.1 or 11.2. You inserted that as if that is what I quoted. The HC still wins. I simply said it was close. It is a difference of 1/4 to a 1/2 second. Worlds in 1/4 mile race.
And that is not with optional upgrade tires, but the only way the Z came. But with $695 in options (HC upgrade) that would buy a lot for the Z to make it even steven.

I hit the gym quite regularly, but not sure what that has to do with the price of race gas in Bowling Green.
I literally re-wrote this 5 times to not be so harsh, so if it comes across that way apologies, BUT
You're trying to say a Gen5 ZL1 is "close" to the quarter mile performance of a Hellcat, or a Gen6 ZL1 for that matter. A half a second and 5MPH difference isn't even in the same ball park when talking 1/4 mile times. Maybe go to the track a bit with your car and you'll start to get it instead of riding BigDave's coat tails with his times he achieved. He basically got almost 100% out of that car to achieve the times he has and that's NOT easy.
To put it in to perspective, to gain 5MPH in the quarter mile, you need 100+ more hp or have to lose 700+ pounds off the Gen5 ZL1 using 580hp and 4400 pounds as the base starting point.
