I don't think so. Let me rephrase...

OP If you don't want to modify the car at all, and can't afford a v8, buy the 6... If you do plan on modifying, a 4 will respond better, and put a bigger smile on your face per dollar spent.

I can say the v6 NPP does sound good. The 4 cylinder will never SOUND good. But sound doesn't = Fast/quick either...

That said... Show me a v6 that will do 0-60 in 4.0 or quicker.... My 4 banger does, and I've spent very little $ on mods. I bought the 4 because of the modding potential. I couldn't justify the cost of the v8, and knew the v6 wouldn't get me to where I wanted to be in the 1/4 mile times without spending a ton more money.
