Went back to the track today and finally knocked out a 10 sec pass. The DA was between +1,600-2K. E content was just above 70%. The first pass would have been 10's out of the gate but the car didn't shift into 5th and keeled over at the 1,000ft mark. The fuel was really fat at that point. Around 11.8-12.0 just like last time out. The strange thing is that the 1/8mph was rolling. I tried a bunch of tweaking and tuning and as the weather go worse I was able to mph the same with tuning but the track was going a way pretty hard and couldn't get the 60's the way I needed them. I still have no top end in this car for some reason. The one thing I wanted to try but didn't get a chance to was just leaving the converter unlocked the entire way down to see what happens.
I am afraid I may have hurt something. On the second or third pass it started to spin out of the hole and I tried to drive through it for a sec. As soon as it hopped I got out of it but was a bit late and I heard a laud nasty pop. I though it broke the rear or an output shaft but seemed to be okay. There is a bunch of vibration in the car now and it sounds like it has a miss. I will dig into it later.
