You contradicted your own point. The time and effort of dealing with future problems with very expensive items like cats, injectors etc. Cat may be fine now but what about a year from now? And document this all you want, you may still have to lawyer up to get them to pay up. And the dealer may claim any problem that crops up down the road is not related to the oil change.

Trade it.
