Do not let these guys (or anyone for that matter) try and talk you into a different sub model. The W6 has more accolades and 20+ year proven history than nearly all others on the market combined.
There are varying thoughts on materials, but I am particularly partial to Birch for offering superior sound quality over MDF and 50% weight savings.
Don't forget, you'll still need a dedicated amp for this box and it will carry it's own costs and installation hurdles. |
