Edit: it is not a loud noise, but is audible to others, not just a drivers cabin noise.
I just installed the z26s 2 weeks ago for 4 piston ss w/vented only and noticed a small groove about a mm by 3/8" wide today.. thinking its going to be pad clips. Let me know what you find out, ill be back into brake shop monday fo sho with update
