GM should address your concerns, but no Al O. I'm just guessing it's not under his purview, but maybe someone knows better.
I am sorry if you felt I was blaming Al. O. for the problems.I was not. He has done more to develop the Camaro and the various performance editions of the Camaro than any other single person on the face of this earth; bar none. Al O. is a great guy. Sometimes the forum is difficult to make a point in writing in a comprehensive manner without it seeming over-sweeping or a rant. Beginning to end in the cited youtube video, Al O. was addressing prospective customers questions about the ZL1 ordering, options, production and limited availability. Al O said exactly what he said as I quoted. To many, they would say, Chief Camaro Development Engineer or not, he seemed to be speaking from a position of authority.as spokesperson at the Camaro Fifty Celebration last year. Perhaps I wasn't clear when asking the questions at the end: "What's the problem? Is there a problem?" Certainly some better explanations for the ZL1 customers as to why their orders are having "perceived problems" would help alleviate some of the frustration with long waits and changed TPW's. Hardly anyone "hears" the "T" in TPW, an acronym for TARGETPRODUCTION WEEK. It is a target date for a possible date during that week subject to scheduling. I would not have a problem if my build was scheduled earlier. I suspect many others wouldn't care either. Maybe it would help if there was some active participation in this forum from Chevrolet Customer Service as there is on one of the Corvette Forums. I would like to paraphrase the earlier comments of one of our moderators: "When everyone gets their ZL1's, all will be forgotten." Thanks for your thoughts.
