FWIW, I would recommend anything but Blose, and I have the 2SS. If you aren't stuck with it, you can find many aftermarket amps and speakers for less $ and better quality. The proprietary nature of the circuitry of the Bose makes it very difficult to work with, and I echo the sentiment "no highs, muddy mids and lows, it must be Bose".
