I think the volume is perfect, yet it is very deceptive from inside the car. The dampening Chevy did is so good that you think the exhaust isnt loud enough. But everyday I am reminded by pedestrians that the car is quite loud. My wife thinks Im speeding down our street everyday, yet I never break 20 mph. If you want the full effect, just put down the back seat. That always reminds me how loud the system is.

Also, no drone whatsoever, and the sound is very very deep and aggressive. I too have wondered if the ATAK would have been the better choice, but honestly I didnt want to flirt with any kind of high pitch or hollow sound. When I purchased the S-Type I was willing to sacrifice 4-5 dB for a deeper and more refined sound. My coworker with a 2016 Mustang 5.0 with Roush axle back even admired the Borla system and claimed it sounded very deep compared to NPP, and he quoted "thats the perfect sound, just the right amount of volume and tone".

Its a "grown-ups" system guys, but it def matches our Gen6 Camaro's new street swag of being a more refined sports car. The quality is second to none and everyone knows of Borla's reputation.

Hope this helps all in question on what system to get!

So there aren't any O2 sensors or anything in the secondary cats? Just pull them, replace with cat delete option plus cat back S Type and your good to go?

This is what I want to do very, very soon.

I'm just trying to research everything thoroughly so I don't run into any CEL problems.
