Couple answers to some of the questions above:

1. The FIFTY logo is only backlit in red. I have an Escort 9500 radar detector mounted under the rearview mirror that has a red display, and wound up keeping the internal LEDs on red, so I am simply going with a single color theme.

2. Sub is mounted to car with some sort of holding concrete clay. I can still smell it a little in the interior. It's definitely solid with no rattles at all. Scroll back in this thread -- I think I posted a pic before the carpet was put on and you can see the clay on the left and right sides of the sub.

3. I didn't ask why they chose a post-amp signal. Probably to keep all the factory functionality, I would guess. That's what they said they were doing and I didn't know a pre-Bose option was available. Per the last post above, apparently it isn't? (yet?).
