I used a 3.5 ton truck jack to lift the car, then used a creeper to slide under. Took a mildly frustrating 20 minutes or so, much the same as BrianL actually - I also used a flat head screw driver to push the plug in until it clicked.

At what point are you having trouble? Getting the OEM plug to release, or getting the eliminator plugged in? I found a decent light and a flat head screw driver were all I needed, but I'd say my hands are medium to large in size. If you have big hands, I can't imagine it'd be possible to get them up in there. Do you have any friends with small hands? Without the screw driver I don't think I'd have been able to get it myself (grab a cheap one from Walmart if you need to - it shouldn't cost you more than a dollar or two).
