You live just north of DC, right? Two years ago there were only three days in the winter I couldn't drive my Camaro with the stock tires because of heavy snowfalls that closed roads, schools and offices anyway in the Minneapolis/St. Paul area.
Unless you have the RS package I'd reconsider the need to buy anything where you are located.
