That's probably the biggest reason it wouldn't be worth it unless it's a cheap software upgrade by someone in the aftermarket.
Onstar uses a different antenna. There is usually a separate gps antenna that goes up under the dash for the nav infotainment system. I have looked into doing this in other gm vehicles. Also this thread wasnt about adding speed limit to anything it was about adding the nav unit after the fact. A reflash will be needed to have everything work properly. Also about the speed limit in the hud and dic i wonder if people without nav has the info page for speed limit in thier dic options. If they do then they probably just need to turn on to get it working.
