The problem I see with the wireless is that the switch defaults to open whenever power is removed requiring you to activate the remote to get it back to stock at every start-up. A simple on/off switch eliminates that issue and is likely what I will do, just because I can. I doubt I'll run it much that way though..

You can do a simple switch and people have with the vette but I liked the wireless way BC I can remove and reinstall in less than a minute for when the car is at the dealer or something, and also BC I didn't want to attempt to run a wire through the firewall. What I've had success with if I want it to start quiet is just hold down the remote button while starting. It closes pretty quick though you do get a little bit of the loud initial bark
