There are few machines in this world as complex as the automobile. It's amazing that these things even function at all, lol. When you make as many of these things as GM does, there are bound to be a few lemons out there, perfection is rare if not impossible. There are no mainstream manufacturers that are immune to this, it happens to all of them.

Then if you consider how many of the individual parts and systems are contracted out to outside suppliers, quality control becomes an exercise in cat herding from a logistics standpoint.
Thank you for that, But for the Camaro we went backwards on fit and finish (paint) And you know it, 2010 members made a stink on the paint under the hood, so GM fixed it by adding Clear to the pint which is what we where looking for, now its no longer there, on top of all the areas that are light on color, grate move this is in deed World Class, no where in the world do you see this, we talk to a lot of members, and some work at plants, if this happened at other place's they pull the car and order a new body ( where do you think the body in white comes from?)

Most of the issues people are having a robotically controlled, (paint, body fitment).

Also having customers calling the plant, (thanks google and such for contact info) screaming for their cars, some cars were released before all issues were corrected to appease customers who wanted their cars yesterday....

Production startup issues.... always exist.
First thank you for trying and making the cars, with that said, This is not the customers fault, we did not make google, nor did the call the paint both at the plant, That's like blaming the customer that payed you to do a job, that you ran out of money 1/2 way true it as you went out and spent it on wine, whiskey before you order supply's, it does not fly.

If this is World Class its not good for us, we got better work before and you have big shoes to fill, spend $10 more per car for paint, that will fix a lot of it, and if you dont think we will pay i will send $500 now to get a car with the paint on it.

Did GM not use the same robotically controlled paint on there CTF cars? if so it was there cars looking this bad? to me its a fail all the way.
