The point that SHOULD be taken from the comparison that I started in this thread is that the Camaro is NOT a strong option at the $50k price point, but it's compelling at under $37k with a stickshift.
An additional point to be made is that if anyone can walk in and buy a $56,400 Corvette for $50k with no "special programs or discounts", what do think you should be paying for a $37,000 Camaro 1SS ??????
