I went v6 because it will be my daily driver and I live in a city.
I'd rarely get the opportunity to use the power of the V8 safely or legally. And being honest I'm not sure that I'm skilled enough for a 4 second car.
For me the V6 felt like the right choice.
And to the guy getting 30 mpg with a turbo 4 crossover: how the hell are you doing that? Highway mileage? I drive a VW GTI and I get 20 mpg average per tank (2L turbo). Got 34 mpg in my wife's puny 2L non-turbo'd Subaru Crosstrek going to the coast and back a couple weeks ago. Due to the problems I've had with the GTI I have no intentions to buy another turbo car ever again.
