In 1-2 years, there won't be a V6 Camaro anymore.

1-2 years?? No way. Maybe after the refresh, or for gen 7...sure I can go with that. (if the V6 isn't selling well)
But look at the stock numbers....the V6 performance over the 2.0 is worth the difference in price. If people want a reasonably priced ride that has great performance they will be looking at the V6 over the 2.0.
Only modders who are serious about tuning will choose the 2.0 over the V6 (for performance reasons).
There are also those that will choose the V6 over the 2.0 b/c of the sound...same as V8 over all else b/c of sound for some people out there. Too many people are using the Mustang as evidence....yeah the EB sells WAY more, but Ford also neutered the V6 by offering no upper end options or PP on it. Also, the V6 actually LOST a bit of HP over the previous model. They are pushing the EB in a big way.
So I think you aren't giving the V6 a fair fight. I love to mod, and my choice would have been the V6 over the 2.0 for the sound, and the fact that I loved my last V6 and it should be easy to get 350+HP out of this one. That would be awesome in a 3,500 pound car...but I ended up in an SS this time around.
