GM then takes their observations and makes any final tweeks/changes to the car before it goes into production for the public.
When GM is done with the CTF cars, a limited number may be prepared for resale, while most of them are destroyed I believe.
CTF cars can be identified from their VIN's, as they have a different VIN series from the normal production vehicles.
