If they made book 4 its own season that really WOULD kill the show - book 4 and 5 will happen simultaneously I'm thinking like it SHOULD have been published

Season 3 was the goal for the producers of GoT, it is what they wanted to film the most. There is still more of a shock in the story coming from the Red Wedding and I don't want to spoil anything for people who haven't read the books so I won't say anything else on that other than the season 3 finale should be one solid punch in the gut for fans.
I would be surprised if they film past season 4 even though the show is HBO's bread and butter right now.
