Edited to add if outnumbered I can see then see your point Silver.

Not that I am going to have a fit and want to continue the debate, come off the base for a minute and come into some of the gang areas or section 8 areas and get the hair flying up the back of your neck then come talk to me. Just cause I said pulled out my gun doesn't mean I have jammed it in anyones face for less, just means I may have it out by my side until I have made sure I'm not in immediate danger... especially when dealing with multiple occupants and there's a lot of movement in the car.... never have lost control... just making sure I go home every night to my kids.
I mean no disrespect towards Military law enforcement especially when I am in an Air Force town. Their officers appear to be very professional and well trained..plus practice safe tactics.. BUT they are in a different world on Base from my experience. The MP's here at least don't come out in the "trenches" with us. Military means a good chance of being armed, but then again they know who has them and who doesn't----its a different experience when you know who has the firearms. plus if you are supposed to "carry" then by all accounts you have the firearm for a legitimate purpose and probably won't be blowing my head off with it. NOT KNOWING is a huge battle in itself.. My area is slowly being overrun with a gang presence. The local university pulls most of its students from the major metropolitan areas---DC, BALTIMORE, PHILLY, NYC, and TRENTON/CAMDEN. Those people are bringing in their friends from the inner city areas who unfortunately have a different agenda it seems then getting an education. Thats something that the military here is not dealing with head on because they are separated in their own area. These people are not out to get caught for anything no matter how small the crime and they will shoot first and deal with the consequences later.
Here's a real world example of gun out for less. I stop a car for running a stop sign. its 2 am on an empty road, 4 occupants, as I walk up to the car the left rear (23yr old) passenger is trying to hide "something" behind his right foot--his hand is just coming up from the floorboard. Out comes the piece, everybody hands up, back up called, I order him out, guess what--- he was trying to hide an open Bud Lite cause he didn't realize its not illegal in our State to have an open container. I couldn't even arrest him. now do you think I lost control? It just as easily could have been a "STREET HOWITZER" (sawedoff shotgun)
