There is a reason why pure bred dogs cost more to insure, and that is because to keep the popular 'look' they are often inbred and lose a lot of their better genes.... thus making them a lot more prone to being in pain, falling ill and passing away prematurely.
Not meant to disrespect or anything of the sort, rather so you will not have to deal with this again before it's time.

Thanks for the info but Cassie's condition had nothing to do with what the breeder did or inbred. This condition has happens in everything from muts to other breeds.. Sad but sometimes life is to short for the ones we love.
