I never tried the Michelins, I had the Continental DWS06's on my Chevy SS, which was modified and putting down nice power. I pushed that car hard thru the twisty's, caught a few rain storms, car did really well.
When I picked up the ZL1, after getting caught in a light sprinkle, it was then that I decided the stock tires had to go and I went right to the DWS06's. I think I have about 21k miles on them and I'll buy another set when these are done. We travel often in it, its been in the rain, I've driven it when its cold, 20ish degrees, they just always have done me well.
Reviews on tirerack are also really good. Hope this helps.
